We possess over 45 years of experience in delivering concrete superstructures, originating from the R O’Rourke & Son business in 1978. Our expertise spans across a variety of projects, from simple constructions to complex high-rise developments. This extensive background includes notable projects such as Southbank Place, One Blackfriars, The Whiteley, and London Olympia Redevelopment. We have consistently demonstrated excellence in constructing reinforced concrete frames, managing constrained sites, and delivering high-quality concrete finishes tailored to client specifications.

Our expertise with jumpform systems is demonstrated through successful delivery on multiple significant projects, showcasing our proficiency in leveraging this construction technique to address intricate architectural and structural demands. Our experience with jumpform systems allows us to efficiently construct high-rise buildings while ensuring quality, safety, and programme compliance, and reducing site constraints and logistical complexities.

At the Brunel Building, London, we employed the jumpform system to fulfil architectural specifications and client requirements, adapting the design to include on-site precast solutions for core tops, thereby enhancing safety and constructability.

At 250 City Road, London, we completed the first phase of a premium residential project, featuring a 43-storey slipformed tower, by utilizing a precast approach and effectively coordinating complex logistics and construction sequencing.

For the Newfoundland Tower, London, we oversaw the jumpform core along with alternating precast hollowcore and post-tensioned slabs for this 62-storey residential tower, ensuring meticulous sequencing and integration with the steel diagrid.

Our slipform experience is marked by successful execution of complex high-rise projects, adeptly handling logistical and structural challenges. This expertise enables us to deliver high-quality, efficient construction solutions while maintaining programme schedules and ensuring structural integrity.

At Southbank Place, London, slipform construction was employed for multiple buildings, navigating significant constraints such as proximity to London Underground exclusion zones, with efficient management of over 15,000 deliveries using a 22-tower crane scheme.

Our work at Southbank involved constructing slipform cores for eight high-rise towers, overcoming structural constraints and extensive logistical demands, including proximity to live tube lines. Years of slipform experience have fostered strong relationships with our supply chain, ensuring tailored solutions for our clients' needs.

In Edinburgh, slipform cores were delivered for a mixed-use development, ensuring quality finishes and managing complex logistics with careful stakeholder engagement.

Expanded projects are backed by our in-house temporary works design department, led by expert engineers with thorough knowledge of concrete construction. This ensures optimal solutions that improve construction efficiencies, programme, and cost-effectiveness for our clients. Our team also benefit from extensive project-based engineering resources to deliver smart solutions.
